How do I use Tollpass?

Use a designated express lane on all toll roads in the coverage area, there is no need to stop and pay with cash, and no device is needed. Some roads or toll stations in the coverage area are “Electronic Payment Only” and our Tollpass Service may be the only way to pay your toll. Your use of those roads or stations will automatically enroll you in our Tollpass Service

To avoid our Tollpass services charges simply avoid toll roads or pay cash at the toll plaza, if that option is available.

How do I pay for this service?

You credit or debit card on file with the rental agreement will be charged for all tolls plus a Tollpass Convenience Fee (TCC) of $3.95 for every rental day you generate a toll using the Tollspass Service. Total TCC charges will not exceed $19.75  per Rental period. The Tollspass Convenience Charge and toll charges will be billed to your credit or debit card promptly after they are received from the toll authority; however, please note that in some cases notification of such tolls may not be received from the toll authority for an extended period of time. There is not Tollpass Convenience Charge on rental days you DO NOT use a toll road.

A Tollpass Convenience Charge (TCC) (where available) of $3.95 per day of Rental Period of each day vehicle is operated on a TCC Covered Road and Vehicle operator does not pay an applicable toll. Total TCC charges will not exceed $19.95 per Rental Period. In addition to the TCC, Owner or a third party may separately charge Renter’s credit or debit card for each toll (or other charge) not paid by Vehicle operator incurred during the Rental Period at the higher of the applicable toll authority’s cash toll rate or highest undiscounted toll rate. A current listing TCC Covered Roads is available upon request at www.htallc.com/tollpass or (877) 765-2501. Operation of Vehicle on a roadway or bridge not covered by TCC where applicable tolls are not paid may subject the Renter to fines, costs and fees see rental agreement Section 3. Renter expressly authorizes Owner or its affiliate to transfer Renter’s Name, address, credit card information and all other data necessary to enable the collections of such amounts.
